BIG BANG

I just love their style..i consider them the greatest kpop boy band of korean gen Y. Their most notable music are "Fools only Tears", "La la la la", "V.I.P.", "Haru-haru". My fave member is Tae Yang-"Prayer" (he's height is out of the question...harhar)

SE7EN

Born Choi Dong-Wook on  November 9, 1984, is my first ever kpop influence. I'm keen to his songs like "La la la" (Korean and Japanese versions), "Come back to Me P2" and "Hikari". TRIVIA: He starred in the korean "sequel" of Goong, Prince S..

SUPER JUNIOR

with 13 members, sure you can't really have enough of them, and so they formed 3 more subgroups--SuJu-M, SuJu-T and SuJu-Happy. I appreciate their kind of music, due to it's up beat and happy themes such as, "Haengbok by SuJu", "No one like me by SuJu-T", "U by SuJu-M" and "Pajama Party by SuJu-Happy". Out of the 13 members, Kim Hee-chul born on July 10, 1983, stands out, because of his vanity and irritating playfullness...yo men my brahthar!

WONDER GIRLS

the all female group that brought the song "Nobody" to Korean charts for almost a year and a half and won 2 "Daesangs" (Artist of the Year) in 2008, on top-unbeatable. I just like the beat and the dance but aside from the single, i didn't really like the other 3 singles, they claim was also of its level. nya!

KIM HYUN-JOONG

Leader of the Kboy group SS501 was born on June 6, 1986, stars as Yoon Ji Hoo (Korea's No. 1 Sunbae) in the hit kdrama Boys Over Flowers. i first noticed him in MBC's variety reality show "We got Married", where he was "married" to Hwang Bo (i love Ssangchoo!). I appreciated his version of "Because I'm Stupid" from the series' OST, which was originally recorded under his very own band. He likes to play the guitar. I like him better in WGM though, than his character in "Boys over Flowers" (but he's still cute in every stint he partake in..harhar)...sarang he, ji hoo sunbae!

KIM SANG BUM

Korean actor born on July 7, 1989, plays So Yi-jung in Boys over Flowers, back to back with Kim Hyun-Joong (Yoon Ji Hoo). I like his smile..(ouch, i think i dropped my heart). i love his scenes with Kim So Eun (Chu Ga-eul), how she teases her and rejects her because of her innocence. So-Eul onjenna!

Actually there are more hallyu artist to look after for, and also we cannot disregard the veterans such as Bae Young Joon, Choi Ji Woo, Kwon Sang Woo, Song Hye Kyo, So Ji Sub, Hyun Bin and a lot more...i'll update again for more of my korean craze..'til next, anneoung!

major exaggeration there...It's just that yesterday, i cooked for the first time in my 23 years of existence...Isn't it a miracle?! that i survived this huge dilemma..Well, the result was good as evidenced by the "clean" plates and pots in the sink (to see, is to believe..you betcha!). I don't even cook rice..harhar! The lucky recipe was Sauteed Mussels (Ginisang Tahong)...If you want to try cooking your first "Carte du Juor" (naks, as if it were a grand entre i prepared, but nevertheless, i'm the writer so don't argue)..Here's how:

1. Fry 3 cloves of garlic (pesteled) until brown.

2. Add 1/2 cup of ginger (pounded and cut to strips), fry until cooked.

3. Next, saute the tomatos (cut into 4s) until the skin shrinks.

4. Pour 12oz of Sprite, add seasonings.

5. Add 2 kgs. of washed (at least 3 times) mussels (Tahong), boil, until all the clams open.

6. Best Served with seaweeds (Ar-aru-sip) and fried fish (Galung-gong). nya!

Born, Christopher Chace Crawford, on July 18, 1985 (he's 3 months, 20 days older than me...harhar) in Lubbock, Texas (where my lola Agnes and my aunts also migrated 10 years ago), has been living up to his character in the hit TV series GOSSIP GIRL, dating American Idol Carrie Underwood and had a sensasional break up with her, not so long after. i like him best when he's all serious and doesn't smile, like he's anxious about something (well his character is quite troubled..nya!) but either way, i still think, he's a god. here's Chace never ending hotness...

She's maybe young and Blake Lively is all woman but i still think she's more stunning (though Leighton is cute, very ironic to her B character). I like her outfits (are they allowed to have those?..i hope so, it's her statement) and her hair (i'm growing my hair so i can transform it to her long shaggy bob). i have this disease of being biased with blonde artists, but with her, i have tolerance shots taken. Born Taylor Michel Momsen on July 26, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri, she plays Jenny "Little J" Humphrey, a teenage designer-intern, turned designer, turned designer-intern (lost?! watch season 2, you'll know my intentions..harhar). Her role is my dream status (shhhh!). unlike my other faves, liking just a portion of them, i like everything about her (what?!, just blabbering..harhar), see for yourselves, so you'd know what i mean....

my latest craze-Boys Over Flowers stars my ever loved Kim Hyun Joong from " We Got Married" and Kim Bum from "East of Eden"....it's sad though, that it will be aired in ABS-CBN <certified kapuso ine!>...aish! i thought GMA has eyes for the drama already, what are their researchers doing? GMA should have had the rights to the drama if they have worked faster..aish...anyway, i have the series downloaded so i don't need to watch it tagalized <thank god, i can't really bear hearing Ji Hoo in another's voice..harhar>...i'm a Ji Hoo-Jan Di and Yi Jung-Ga Eul shipper...☺

it's been a while since i've been blogging my heart out and got very very long updates for you guys...well let's start off with some japanese artists and idol groups i've discovered... first stop kat-tun, kamenashi kazuya and jin akanishi belongs in this group together with 4 more members namely, taguchi junnosuke (bidou granmarii in Yukan Club, a great "episodal" series about a group of friends who have extra time in meddling with matters that don't concern them but turns out to be a great help in finding solutions in the end NOTE: mike he of taiwan had a cameo appearance for the series as a prince of a cheverlou country <can't remember>), tanaka koki (he acted with yamashita tomohisa in the drama byakkotai), ueda tatsuya and nakamaru suichi...but out of these lads, i'm voting for Kamenashi Kazuya, he's great in Gokusen 2 as Odagiri Ryu. Born on Februray 6, 1986 in Edogawa, Tokyo, has won various major awards such as best supporting actor for Gokusen 2 and best actor for Nobuta Wo Produce which he acted with Maki Horikita (Hanazakiri Kimi Tachi e) and Yamashita Tomohisa (Kurosagi)...he will always be the number 1 reason why i'd like to work and live in Japan...Haruma Miura, another kakkoi dude that caught my eyes due to his not so japanese features that made him more kawaii, born April 5, 1990 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan...he is tall that you'd fall for him in an instant <you know i like tall guys, I always give them my precious second look, mind you ...weeeee!>...he acted in the film version of Koizora, a mobile story that spread in Japan about a girl's tragic story of her first love...i liked his lines when he told Mika that he doesn't want to die and leave her behind..<i cried my eyes out during this scene, and i thought he would be healed and they'll live happily ever after...well i was wrong...ngek!> TRIVIA: Haruma-kun is very flexible...he would act as the anti villain for the sequel of Shun Oguri's movie, Crows Zero <and by this time, i've not yet seen, due to video errors in my video streaming site of choice>, (Born on December 26, 1982 in Tokyo Japan, is my favorite actors may it be in movies <Azumi II> or series <Hanazakiri Kimi Tachi E, Hana Yori Dango (w/ Matsumoto Jun and Mao Inoue)..He is also good friends with Toma Ikuta, born October 7, 1984 <we have the same birthdays, except that I was born in the year of the Ox> in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan. He starred in various musicals and was also part of Hana Yori Dango The Return. He won Best Supporting actor for his role as Nakatsu Suichi in Hanazakiri Kimi Tachi E, where he plays Mizuki's close friend that had feelings for her even with the knowledge of her being an otoko but actually is an onna that nakatsu didn't know, that makes him a homo...or not? Watch it, I've downloaded it in my ipod, so I can watch it over and over again and bought the DVD too ...Yamashita Tomohisa, the protagonist in the series Kurosagi, a story about a swindler who swindles back money from swindlers and return it to their victims, is also a good actor and singer for that matter. Leader of the jpop group nEWs, I like his voice especially when he sung the OST of Kurosagi: The Movie, taiyou no namida.... being his fan pave the way of meeting my cyber friend Midori of Malaysia and has been constantly exchanging news about the jpops and jdramas in youtube, he has won me a not so distant friend <I think...you owe me a lunch treat Midori, when I go to Malaysia, I wish...sigh>☺Born April 9, 1985 in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan has acquired his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing at Meiji University this September 2008 <weeee! Ganbate, yamapi!>..he has acted in various dramas including Kurosagi, Nobuta Wo Produce and Dragon Zakura, where he acted with Teppei Koike, born on January 5, 1986 in Osaka Japan, is an actor (Gokusen 2) and singer (WaT)☺I liked his single My Brand New Way that stayed at my friendster media box for quite sometime, he has this innocent aura in him but he's short in height so might as well leave him as that, a kakkoi singer that captured my heart through his songs and guitar strums..he plays the guitar quite well,☺.He has formed a Johnny's Entertainment subgroup Shuuji to Akira with Kamenashi Kazuya and recorded an instant hit, Seishun Amigo which was the OST for their series collaboration on Nobuta Wo Produce☺details of them in Wikipedia, if you are blown rapid by my breath-taking updates☺.I'll stop here and give you the rest when the blue moon permits..ja ne!
